Students began class by working on a writing prompt. I will use this writing prompt in placement for next year. Students who were absent should answer the prompt and give me writing ASAP.

Following the prompt I gave students instructions on the conclusion paragraph of their essays. Students had the remainder of class to draft their conclusions.
Homework is:
1- Finish the conclusion on the essay writing organizer.
2- Combine the information on the essay writing organizer to create a rough draft. On Monday following break we will peer-edit the essays.
