At the beginning of class students recorded the daily goal, then responded to three warm-up situations. We then had a quick class discussion on each of the situations which will relate to various acts and taxes passed by the British.

Next, I gave students notes on the Road to the Revolution, discussing the laws and taxes we mentioned in the warm-up (slides 1-6.)

Following the notes, students received a graphic organizer where they recorded different laws and taxes, gave a brief overview of each, and recorded the effects each had on the colonists. Please refer to the readings below for information.
