We began class today with a quiz on the abolitionists. Any student who missed class must see me when they return to make-up this quiz.
Next, students participated in a warm-up activity. (see lesson PowerPoint below)

Students who were absent should read through the information and answer the three questions at the end of the PowerPoint.
After the short lesson, I passed out a study guide for the Western Expansion unit. There are no new questions or material on the study guide. Students should use their old assignments to complete the study guide.
