I began class by passing back their pop quiz from Friday. Students who did not take the quiz, or would like a re-take, should see me during team time this week.
Next, we finished the stations we started on Thursday. We then discussed the information about George Washington and his cabinet.

We then watched a quick video on George Washington (minutes 31:30- 38:30). We discussed how the information in the video on George Washington differed from our preconceptions of the man, especially concerning his ownership of slaves.

For homework, students need to answer the last question on the "Washington and His Cabinet" sheet. See Thursday's blog for a copy of this activity. Responses should be at least one paragraph.
