Next, they participated in a warm-up activity on the definition mercantilism:
After reviewing the warm-up, I gave students a reading on mercantilism. As students read the article they wrote thoughts, comments, questions, predictions, etc... into the "thought bubbles".
At the end of class I briefly introduced the mercantilism simulation that students will participate in tomorrow and placed students into groups.
Homework is to finish the four "reading comprehension" questions at the end of the "mercantilism reading."
