We began class with notes on the Advantages held by the North and South in the Civil War and the different strategies each side took.

Next, I showed students a video clip on the battle between the ironclad ships the Merrimack and Monitor.
At the end of class I distributed graphic organizers to students. I then gave students a list of seven events from the war. Students used their textbooks to find the required information on the graphic organizer.

Homework is:
1- Submit Wednesday's edmodo assignment (Letter to Lincoln or Davis) THROUGH EDMODO ONLY by class tomorrow.
2- Finish the graphic organizer on all seven events from early in the Civil War.
