To begin class I reviewed a few of the most important events from the end of the Civil War. As I reviewed the events students reviewed their graphic organizers to make sure they had all the information they needed.

Following the notes I introduced the final project of the year. Students will use the information they took on their graphic organizers and create a timeline.
For timeline instructions go to edmodo and open the document titled "timeline instruction sheet."
For homework, students need to set-up a timeline on the website provided on the instruction sheet. Thursday and Friday they will enter their information onto their timelines, and submit the timelines by the end of class on Friday.
