We began class with current events by watching CNN Student News. Topics included the struggle for power in Egypt, the looming fiscal cliff in the US, and the anniversary of the Japanese attack of Pearl Harbor.

Next, students participated in an activity where I gave them a number of events both prior and during the Revolutionary War on slips of paper. Students worked with their tables to place the events into the correct order. We then reviewed this information as a class.
Next, students had time to work on their homework.
Homework is:
1- Organizer your binders #1-10 for a binder quiz on Monday.
2- Read pages 211-215 and finish all the ovals on the "Analyzing the Revolutionary War" sheet. (see prior blogs for the attachment of the assignment.)

3- Students who finished both assignments began working on a study guide for their test. I will create a separate blog posting with the study guide and all necessary readings to complete the sheet.
