**Students took a survey during 2nd period and this class did not have all the activities in the lesson.

At the beginning of class I collected student's homework.

Next, we read through a journal entry from a girl on the Oregon Trail.

I then gave students a hypothetical situation where they needed to put themselves into the place of a traveller on the Oregon Trail and answer a few warm-up questions.

Next, students took notes on the trails west, including the Oregon Trail.   We took notes up to the slides on the Mormons.

We then watched a quick video on the Oregon Trail.

We then finished the "Trails West Notes" about the Mormons.

Next, we began to watch a video on the Mormons.  As students watched the video they answered video questions.

If students missed class they should:

1- print the note sheet, use the PowerPoint to fill-in blank spaces on the note sheet

2- download the video questions and watch the video until about 15 minutes in.

We will finish the video on Monday.
